Hello Third Quarter ;)
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new year! and I'm feeliinnng goood. LOL, I changed the song a little bit but oh wellss. Man, a lot happened this week like new years, and one day later BACK TO SCHOOL. UGGH. I kinda okay with going back to school, it's weird cause I miss homework, taking notes, lectures, and my friends. You know school is the only good way I can get away for my house for the longest time. Sometimes I'd rather be at school when I'm at home and when I'm school I'd rather be at home x) So far the two days of school is okay... I guess. My best friend is leaving and she is moving schools and I didn't get to say goodbye the way I wanted to. It's a new quarter and a new year it's good to change and work harder, no time for procrastinating.
Period one- In science, we worked on punnet squares. We took notes on reproduction and we did a worksheet that deals with homozygous, heterozygous, phenotype and genotype. We have homework -,- But I finished it. Science was kinda confusing but I'm okay with it... NOW. Hopefully I don't a B for this quarter.
Period two- In math, we just took a loooot of notes on the grading system and class routine, and rules. We also looked at our grades for the finals. I got a decent grade but I knew I could do better. I got a C -.- A big fat C -.- I wasn't proud but that's all I have and I have to deal with what I have. Soo much pressure! But it was my fault kinda. I should of studied more. tsk tsk tsk. Oh yeah and we had a big fat lecture about our notes and grades. We learned the word "Insanity".
Period three- In AVID, we wrote in our AVID journals. It was about if we had the money, how would you change the school. It was something like that. Then we had a group project but my group was the judges :3 So we didn't have to do anything. So during class time we played a lot of games but got too uncontrollable. It was fun! I have AVID on Monday! LOLOL.
Period four- In English, we learned about denotation and connotation. Connotation is what you think, feel for that topic. Denotation is the definition of that topic but from the dictionary. Something like that. Then we had a worksheet that was pretty easy. I kinda liked that lesson but yeaah.
Period five- In social studies, we learned about King Kauikeaouli. Just like the usual, do now, attendance, gives us a worksheet, assigns us the page in the textbook, do the worksheet, take a quiz then period is over! I soo wanted to change seats! I'm sitting right in front of the projector and right in front of his desk!
Period six- In leadership, we painted our flower pot! It was so nice! The theme was a boat and in the boat was windows and period six was in the windows. It was so nice, just in 55 minutes! We worked together that's why. It felt like "Chopped" x) lolol. Then we listened to the playlists for orientation! In advisory we found out period six got 70s! That's when my mom was born .__. But in leadership I am honestly feeling so much pressure. Like the weekly AR goal, the interview for joining leadership, orientation, and the new rules. All I hear is probation, probation, probation. So much things going through my mind! I still need to do other stuff! uggh I gotta keep up the work!
