4/1/13- 4/5/13
Heyoo bloggers! Well it's a new month and new quarter for me! Time to start of freeshh. In third quarter I learned a lot... Now I have to give it my very best since it's the last quarter! We don't need time for mistakes. I had straight A's in third quarteer :D so proud. Now that reminds me, I HAVE TO START WORKING ON MY DISPLAY BOARD -.-. Anyways, next week is orientation and we have to work a lot. We risked our times just to practice on orientation. I was a sick puppy this week but my parents refused and I refused not to stay home (I wanted to, but I didn't want to because I didn't want to be behind and I have responsibilities! I don't want leadership/period 6 to be behind!). So I had to suck it up and show up. Okay week for me, I hope orientation goes smoothly. I wish I recover before Monday.
Science- In science we did a lab (not really because we didn't have enough supplies, so basically it was a "demonstration"). We also started reading this book called "Julie the Wolves". I don't get it but at least I got the worksheets done ^_^
Math- In math, we are still learning more about ratios and proportions but we just recently introduced using ratios with shapes. We learned about congruent and similar shapes also corresponding and other stuff. But congruent kinda reminds me of dilation so I didn't really have much trouble with working with the problems.
AVID- In AVID, we basically worked on projects and other stuff. I'm almost done with my thank you letter! Hallejuah! But I'm okay with AVID... at the moment.
English- We made a script and we have to practice it. ( I DON'T LIKE THIS CLASS, EVEN THOUGH I LOVE TO WRITE).
Social Studies- In social studies, we are learning about the pacific islands. So far we had a little quiz on identifying those islands... and I didn't really do a great job -.- But he's giving us another try! YAY. IM SO HAPPY. Okay, but anyways we are going to learn about the governments and we have to do a writing report. We had to randomly choose an island sooooo... He had a bunch of easter eggs and he made us choose one and in the easter egg holds the island we are doing. I got "FSM Yap". Which is Federate States of Micronesia (Yap) ( one of the micronesian islands). I don't know why people get racist and tease them or claim that they are "micronesian", just cause they have different beliefs and what they were and how they communicate and their ahem* "goldden" teeth doesnt mean they have the right to tease them.
Leadership- Mostly working on orientation. Passed my AR goal... WOOHHOOOO
