Week Nineteen

Hey bloggers!  Well this week has been a great week, it wasn't the best week but it was great and it wasn't as lame as the other ones.  One of the big events that happened this week was evacuation and I think evacuation went very well!  There weren't as much big problems caused by leadership and I guess that's a good thing.  I honestly though it was a little unorganized but at least the students cooperated with the evacuation and it went very well overall.  But yeah.  LET'S GET STARTED.  In science, well Mrs. Hudson wasn't there for the majority of time but we just did worksheets which are based on earthquakes.  It may be worksheets, but they are darn hard!!!! I gotta finish this by Tuesday, so I'm gonna start working on it this weekend (I BETTER).  In AVID, we did philosophical chairs and the topic was about, would you rather be booksmart or streetsmart?  Well honestly, I went on the side saying I would rather be streetsmart because I had more better things to say about it lol.  But I'd honestly be booksmart and in my opinion I'm more of a booksmart person and I wish I got some streetsmart in myself because I don't have common sense sometimes and initiative sometimes.  In English, all we did was read The Giver and Mr. Ing mention it as the perverted book because of Sheila.  Sheila it's a pretty good book.  So far Jonas is receiving memories from the Giver and it's painful memories which were hurting Jonas and stuff like that.  Jonas is learning about pleasurable memories as well, the recent chapter that I read was about the memory of christmas and in Jonas' community there's no such things as christmas and more specific things that sum Christmas and Jonas becomes more curious and stuff.  In Algebra, we learned about the surface area and volume of spheres and we did this word problem lesson based on all the concepts of surface area and volume.  The word problem thing is HARD. I will cry because of it :(((((( i hate it.  In Social Studies we are learning about… well idk what we are learning about but I remember we did a CFA on Washington's farewell speech.  In leadership, well we were planning for evacuation.

Well I had a lot of highlights in my week so I'm going to separate them.

Kendama
Well it all started with Aleesha and her reaction to her kendama… she got it into the spike? IDK.  But she was going all fangirl on it…  Fanning herself and stuff.  Then days later Khrizz gets it in and we start screaming and aleesha gets scared cuz her kendama

Lunch: Well me, Mr. Ing, nicole., and korey ate lunch.  It was a great lunch, I had meatjun and our discussion was just very enjoyable.

Saturday:  Well today me, korey, went to khrizz's house and we did the smoothie challenge and made videos.  it was actually enjoying and I loved it!

Well the lesson learned is to always watch out for hints.  When you are in a problem and you are having a hard time trying to get out of it…. You should really be observant for hints and use them just to save yourselves and get closer to solving the problem.  So I should suggest to take advantage of them and don't just sit there and  do nothing productive so take advantage (HINT HINT HINT)
