Week Twenty
Hey blogggers! So this week was a great week for me. I don't know what's happening right now… because usually I don't have really good weeks. Anyways, let's get started on my week. In Science, we did a CFA and we took notes about volcanoes and in that case, that is the next topic we will be working on. In AVID, we learned about different strategies on how to answer a prompt and basically we took notes on it -.- lol. I think we did tutorials this week, I don't really remember. Then we did binder checks and an academic day, academic day is actually free time to do homework and things like that. In English, we are still finishing the book The Giver, unfortunately we are almost done with the book :((( It's actually a very good book and no it's not perverted! OOO Sheila. I remember we also did a CFA and I didn't finish it in class because… I would like to confess, I was distracted and I was talking a little but at least I finished my annotation and I started writing. But when I took it home, I actually spent time on it. I better get a 4 Mrs. Davidson. In Algebra, we just recently finished finding the surface area and volume of 3-D figures and now we are moving on to coordinates! I dislike coordinates a whole lot because it's a very long and tedious process. I'm a person who likes fast processes because I don't like taking long on one problem. I hate slopes but Im happy we are working on the easy coordinate things. We are doing dilation, translation, rotation, and reflection on the coordinate plane and those things are called transformations. In Social Studies, we finished a worksheet on republicans and democrats and we did a study guide to help us study on a test coming up on Monday and that reminds me that i have to study -.- I don't studying, I get distracted very easily. Then he asked us questions and if we answered them correctly, we would get extra credit points (ur fab mr young lull). In Leadership, well it was basically and generally working at the book fair and productive time.
The highlight of my week was soccer shootout. It was very entertaining watching 7th and 8th graders trying to get the ball in the goal. Like literally… THEY SUCK. Even I can get it into the goal at the 5 point line with not that much effort and confidence. It's funny watching all the boys with so much confidence, not getting into the goal or the soccer people omg. It's funny and hilarious… This intramural was a very laid back and easy intramural and I enjoyed it. Some teachers don't even follow directions (mrs. d). It was fun. Also, flu shot was fun, I enjoyed getting my flu shot and it was hilarious watching Aleesha crying when she didn't even start the flu shot, hilarious. Another highlight was the school beautification day. It was fun, I got the job of painting the stencils on and cleaning the drywells. I'm not even sure if we gotten all the drywells because the map was confusing! It was fun though. Cheana and Khrizz had a baby btw… I'm the godfather surprisingly, they name the baby… Kreyna. The nickname I would give to their baby is "cray cray" lol.
The lesson learned this week is that you have know what you are putting yourself in. The seventh traders decided that they wanted their privileges taken away and when Mr. Ing was about to confirm that he asked "do you know what losing your privileges mean?" and they said yes. So they got their privileges taken away and they realized they actually didn't know what that meant. But you have to know what you are putting yourself into and you have to make the right decisions.
WELL BYE BLOGGERS. I actually made this weekly blog long. But I can't wait for next week, we have a field trip and there is thanksgiving. Hopefully next week will be a great week :). Gonna go to khrizz's house now (get ready). I kinda wanna watch the manny pacquiao fight. but anywyas, BAIIIIII
